Microgaming announces new poker games for its casino vertical
Microgaming announced this week a new set of poker games is coming to its online casino portfolio. The provider has a commitment to supply operators around the world with a diverse selection of games and with new poker options, it can offer even more. The new poker games come just a few months after the brand closed its Microgaming Poker Network, which operated for over 16 years.
New Game Content
Among the first of the new poker games to launch is Hold’Em Poker. It will be followed by Lucky Showdown in the future. With Hold’em Poker, players will have access to a game that provides an immersive poker environment. The Microgaming title introduces a new random prize pool wheel mechanic and a progressive jackpot for added incentives while playing.
Hold’em Poker will launch on December 1 with specific customers and then complete a global launch on December 9.
CEO of Microgaming, John Coleman, commented on the new launch by stating: “Hold’em Poker will add a new dimension to our online casino vertical, introducing a range of fun and exciting poker games to our platform.”
Megaways Deal
Along with creating new content, Microgaming has been busy signing new partnership deals. In mid-October, the brand announced an enhanced partnership with Big Time Gaming (BTG). The deal will see the Megaways mechanic of BTG used by Microgaming in the creation of several games.
The mechanic will be used in new titles such as Shamrock Holmes, a new online video slot game that will release in January on the network.
